CPR Certification
Grand County EMS is the American Heart Association Training Center for this region of southeastern Utah. We oversee Training Sites for our own department, Moab Regional Hospital, the National Park Service, and Bureau of Land Management. Our Training Center provides classes and certification for all Heartsaver and Basic Life Support (BLS) courses, as well as Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) courses. Grand County EMS is in the process of adding the Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) discipline to our Training Center.
CPR certification can be achieved in several different ways. Traditional in person classes are taught on a regular basis. You can also take an online class from the American Heart Association by going to elearning.heart.org. Once you have completed the online portion you will need to schedule a CPR skills test with us.
EMT Courses
We also teach basic and advanced EMT courses. We typically host one basic or one advanced class per year. Classes run roughly three months long and are academically challenging. If you are interested, contact us!
