Grand County Emergency Medical Services is a Special Service District overseen by a District Board. The Board has seven members with representatives from the Grand County Commission, Moab City Council, and the Town of Castle Valley. Additional seats are at-large positions. 
 

01/12/26 - Board Vacancy - Grand County EMS

Grand County Emergency Medical Services Special Service District (GCEMS SSD) is seeking to appoint one (1) board member to fill a term ending December 31, 2026.

GCEMS SSD is a full-service emergency medical services department providing 911 emergency response, interfacility transport, backcountry and wilderness care, paramedic services, and public education to the residents and visitors of Grand County, Utah. Our mission is to deliver the highest level of public safety and public health to the community we serve.

Ideal candidates are community-minded individuals with an interest in public safety, public health, fiscal oversight, and governance, who are willing to serve collaboratively and provide strategic guidance in support of Grand County EMS’s mission.
